HISTORY

The company that eventually became Wise Construction, Inc. started in 1971. We were involved in the grain bin moving business at that time, primarily moving used grain bins from U.S. Government bin sites to farm locations. This led to becoming dealers for grain bin companies as well as erecting grain storage facilities as subcontractors in the states of Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado. As time progressed we added metal buildings to our line of work and continued to subcontract our services. On one project in Oklahoma, the customer wanted a metal building constructed over the top of two grain bins!

Throughout the first several years we were gradually able to build a large enough customer base in our local area to be able to keep our employees at home instead of being on the road. We still occasionally contract projects out of our area, but generally stay within the North Central Kansas area.
